The Clinical Application Specialist plays a critical role in supporting BD Biosciences’ platforms by delivering expert-level technical assistance, training, and customer engagement. This role ensures optimal instrument performance, drives product adoption, and enhances customer satisfaction through hands-on support and collaboration with commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site troubleshooting and technical support for BD Biosciences instruments and assays.
Conduct pre- and post-sales training for BD staff, distributors, and end users.
Collaborate with Account Managers during sales calls, acting as a technical consultant.
Perform product demonstrations and present seminars to various stakeholders.
Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for product platforms.
Provide emergency support and flexible availability based on business needs.
Maintain proficiency in instrument functionality and assay troubleshooting.
Collect customer insights to inform sales strategies and product development.
Regularly update Salesforce Dot Com (SFDC) with customer interactions and activities.
Uphold BD’s policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
