This position is responsible for supporting the continuous improvement activities of the manufacturing site.This includes facilitating projects and Blitzes to improve quality, service and financials; as well as assisting
with activities associated to the CI strategy and goals.

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
• The Continuous Improvement intern is responsible to complete the continuous improvement
projects assigned at the plant.
• Support the planning, design, and execution of continuous improvement projects (kaizen events).
• Facilitate the implementation and improvement efforts towards the simplification of value streams.
• Develop improvement ideas and drive projects execution.
• Complies with the GMP’s, Quality Standards and established Policies and/or Procedures.
• Uses the required clothes, personal and security protective equipment according to the
requirements of its operation.
• Execute other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Participate on Blitzes.
Education and Experience:
• Last semester of university career, pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in Medical Devices Industry preferable.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Basic understanding of CI concepts, Knowledge in Microsoft office, basic of Lean, Six Sigma,
Kaizen. Additional software knowledge preferred: Visio, Minitab, AutoCAD. MS Office.
• Good Communication skills, analytical skills, and business acumen. Good oral and written skills.
Proven ability to work as part of a project team.
• Able to understand basic English.
