The production supervisor is responsible for supervising employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

We are currently seeking a leader to help the team produce one of the most important pharmacy automation systems in the world. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business, our healthcare customers, and the patients they serve by ensuring Manufacturing runs effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire Excellence - Lead and energize a dedicated production team to consistently meet and exceed production targets while fostering a culture of achievement
  • Champion Continuous Improvement - Cultivate an environment where quality and efficiency thrive through collaborative problem-solving and innovation
  • Develop Top Talent - Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and mentorship to team leads and members, optimizing resource allocation to meet evolving production demands
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Success - Partner seamlessly with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Implementation teams to ensure flawless product availability and on-time customer deliveries
  • Uphold Gold Standards - Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols, production procedures, and quality guidelines that protect our team and customers
  • Drive Data-Informed Decisions - Monitor, analyze, and present key performance indicators to senior leadership, identifying opportunities and implementing strategic improvements
  • Advance Operational Excellence - Actively participate in our Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and eliminating waste
  • Build Your Dream Team - Take ownership of staffing requirements including interviewing and selecting top talent to join our mission
  • Nurture Professional Growth - Conduct meaningful performance reviews and identify development opportunities that help team members reach their full potential
  • Foster a Positive Workplace - Collaborate with our Employee Relations Center of Excellence to implement fair and effective corrective actions when needed
  • Demonstrate Flexibility - Be prepared for occasional weekend and overtime work to ensure we meet critical healthcare deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree
  • 3 years of experience in a mid-level production environment for electromechanical devices.
  • 2+ years Lean Manufacturing-Six Sigma experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Green Belt Certification

Skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate others to work as a team towards a common goal
  • Hands-on leader with integrity and a desire for work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment
  • An effective communicator, with strong verbal and written skills
  • Strong commitment to developing team members
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, ERP, and product life cycle management systems – Great Plains preferred

Work Environment

  • Work may involve long-term standing, sitting and frequent walking throughout areas such as warehouse and test labs as well as navigating common hazards related to these areas.
  • Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
