Responsible for supply planning, capacity planning, execution oversight, and monitoring and reporting of results. Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts between Warehouse, Planning, Manufacturing & Quality to ensure optimal material workflow, transactional efficiency, and inventory accuracy. Recognize opportunities for improvement and successfully implement processes or procedures that ensure material flow efficiency.
- Fully understand Inventory Movements from receiving through manufacturing and shipping, becoming an SAP and MES or equivalent experience Super User for training, process improvements, and troubleshooting.
- Meet Inventory Accuracy Goals by managing the cycle counting process, conducting root cause investigations, and establishing processes for preventative and corrective actions.
- Define Inventory targets by work center and analyze whether inventories need to be maintained, increased, or decreased. Establish Kanban systems and 5S methodologies to manage required targets considering appropriate lead-times and service level commitments.
- Work integrally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing/Planning, Supply Chain, and other functional groups to ensure data accuracy in SAP.
- Take the role of project lead when working across functional groups to achieve business goals. Lead without authority, train, and communicate business process changes with Plant functional groups.
- Produce supply plans for manufacturing and contribute supply-related components to SIOP, including capacity plans, MPS, and inventory schedules.
- Perform all manufacturing planning aspects to support new product launches upon completion of the design process.
- Complete complex spreadsheet analysis during issue resolution or scenario planning.
- Monitor capacity loading on assigned production lines and forecast.
- Contribute supply plans for product phase-out to minimize obsolete raw inventory.
- Provide input to the Business Planning process annually and provide quarterly updates.
- Perform basic financial analyses for manufacturing absorption.
- Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
- Ability to work weekend shifts (8-10 hours on Saturday & Sunday and rest of hours M-F to meet 40 hours per week - flexible).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Operations.
- 5 years of related experience in manufacturing.
- 5 years experience working within ERP/MRP systems required.
- Proven experience in forecasting techniques, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using PCs and associated software.
- Experience in SAP.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- OPEX/Project management experience preferred.
