Job Description Summary
Are you passionate about optimizing resources, driving operational efficiency, and collaborating across dynamic teams? We’re looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Operational Resources Planner to join our EMEA Diagnostics Systems (DS) business unit team.In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the right technical experts are assigned to the right projects at the right time. You’ll work closely with project managers, department leads, and technical teams to tactically allocate resources, manage risks, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly impact project success, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Resource Allocation & Scheduling: Plan and assign technical resources (Install Leads, Field Service Engineers, Diagnostic Solution Experts, etc.) to customer and internal projects.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor critical metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to improve resource utilization.
- Tool & Process Optimization: Maintain and enhance planning tools, templates, and processes for efficient resource management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and interested parties to align on resource needs and priorities.
- Risk Management: Develop contingency plans and “what-if” scenarios to mitigate resource bottlenecks.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
- Training & Support: Contribute to associate training programs and short-term scenario planning.
Preferred profile :
Proven experience in resource planning, scheduling, or project coordination in an international environment
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, MS Project, Smartsheet, and other planning tools
Excellent communication and collaborator coordination skills
Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving and contingency planning
Familiarity with KPIs such as utilization, throughput, and on-time delivery
Experience in a project management environment is a strong plus
Salary range for the position (primary location) : 45 000 to 55000 euros / year
