Your mission will be to achieve the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the Biosurgery platform, by growing BD portfolio in existing surgical specialties and developing new ones, such as Colorectal and Spine in EMEA.

Job Description

As Market Development Manager Biosurgery your mission will beto achieve the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the Biosurgery platform, by growing BD portfolio in existing surgical specialties and developing new ones, such as Colorectal and Spine in EMEA.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, lead and implement marketing plans for assigned markets to continue to grow the Biosurgery portfolio and ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations. These plans include both market shaping and share acquisition strategies and activities.
  • Accountable for achievement of unit and revenue budget for the Biosurgery in EMEA within the Surgery Business Unit.
  • Lead the successful development and flawless implementation of new product launches and related commercialization plans, strategies and activities. Direction provided has a direct impact on the achievement of the region revenue results.
  • Develop deep insights through research and analytics to understand drivers of demand and inform marketing and product development decision-making, plans, activities and the organization.
  • Work closely with KOLs and surgeons and develop advocacy.
  • Work in direct collaboration with Business Unit associates (including marketing, professional education, medical affairs), Country Sales / Products Managers, Global Biosurgery Platform and Supply Chain. Represent EMEA in the global Biosurgery platform team. Ensure alignment across all partners listed before and the commercial team.
  • Develop and manage marketing communications plans, activities, events and agencies according to brand strategies and goals and guiding the execution by the Marketing Communications team. Develop a digital marketing plan together with the Omnichannel team to optimize digital presence in the Biosurgery space.
  • Encourage innovation and ensure consistency in brand and company marketing communications.
  • Champion communications and activities around competitive intelligence and promotion of understanding of competitive tactics.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, medical or scientific graduate degree preferred
  • Proven record of success in Marketing/ Market development in the surgical field
  • Experience in delivering multi country product launches & conversion strategies is preferred
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are considered as an advantage
  • Ability to influence without authority, using relationships and networks within the BD matrix to influence strategies within the region and at a global level. Customer centric & analytical. Able to clearly identify customer needs and requirements
