The program manager is responsible for providing BDZ project and program management support for various transfer, cost saving and/or design change projects of electro-mechanical products. The position must be able to work with BDZ & outside (transferee) stakeholders to take projects and programs from project initiation through project close out, including coordination and alignment of integration points with product development plans/schedules.
Responsibilities:
Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Integrate with transferee organization’s project management.
Plans, schedules, organizes, and delegates project activities. Sets goals, establishes priorities, manages project resources, reviews progress and results.
Lead teams, negotiate for resources and lead projects to a successful and timely completion.
Meeting coordination - scheduling, taking meeting minutes, leading discussion when necessary.
Collect, organize, and escalate project issues and risks.
Ensures regulatory compliance of projects by collaborating with the applicable groups. Complies with BDZ and BD quality policies, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications:
3-5 years Project/Program Management experience.
Track record of successful product transfers/new product integrations.
PMP Certification (a plus).
Excellent written and verbal skills. Good interpersonal skills: conflict resolution, negotiation, and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint).
Understanding of the business, being agile and applying expertise in communication and working with diverse groups of people and skill sets.
Project scheduling skills and use of PM software (like MS Project, and Project Server).
Demonstrated ability to understand complex, multi-project environments and be able to quickly diagnose potential risks and issues.
Experience in a manufacturing environment in a regulated industry (medical device preferred)
Experience with manufacturing projects.
Position requires good logic and reasoning ability. Ability to define problems and find logical solutions. Must evaluate and resolve daily issues by exercising sound judgement.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or similar discipline.
