Sitting bedside night after night observing home health nurses tend to her niece’s care lit a spark and passion in Mya. Meet Brittanny Arko
Product Planning Buyer in Sandy
Brittany Arko has had an interesting career journey at BD. She started as a contractor working in the cafeteria of the Sandy, Utah site in 2002. From there she joined the organization as a full-time machine operator and then made several moves within the plant over the course of two decades leading to her current role as a Production Planning Buyer. Our History
1897 Becton, Dickinson Opens for Business
At 45 Vesey Street, New York City, there was no fanfare that mid-September day to indicate the birth of Becton, Dickinson and Company. But on the third floor of the narrow 6-story building, two determined young partners, Maxwell Becton and Fairleigh Dickinson, showed zeal in settling their 20 workers to the task of making clinical thermometers.
