This is a day shift onsite role (11am - 11pm, 3 days on and 3 days off) offers a competitive salary plus a 32% shift premium.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of all production equipment and related utilities, tools and machines

  • Coordinate and assist maintenance personnel in repairing and maintaining all production equipment and related utilities, tools and machines

  • Perform periodic checks on equipment and utilities to ensure proper functioning and efficiency

  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment as needed

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects

  • Train new operators and provide mentorship and guidance to existing operators

  • Assist with the implementation of new equipment and technology

  • Maintain accurate records of production and downtime

  • Monitor and adjust process parameters to optimize equipment performance and minimize waste

  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

About you:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and processes

  • Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints

  • Working knowledge of computerized control systems

  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and principles

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Willingness to wear protective clothing as required by the department
