Job Description Summary
The TM will be responsible for achieving sales targets in all hospitals within South Australia territory for Biopsy by providing clinical support to customers and establishing good relationships with key decision makers. He/She should ensure timely follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns as well as regular visits to all relevant stakeholders including Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Procurement Officers etc. The role requires excellent communication skills both written & verbal along with strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • To achieve Sales Targets by building strong customer relations and creating demand for products through effective selling techniques.

  • To develop strategies to penetrate target accounts (Hospitals) and implement them effectively.

  • To identify tender/rate contract opportunities and prepare proposals accordingly.

  • To conduct product presentations to various groups of customers including doctors, nurses, pharmacists etc.,

  • To organize conferences / seminars periodically to educate customers about our products.

  • To keep track of competitor activities and update on any new products launches or changes in pricing policies.

  • To maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer data base.

  • To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to promotion of medical devices.

  • To provide feedback on market trends and consumer preferences to Marketing Department.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science/Pharmacy or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred but not essential.

  • Minimum three years experience in Medical Device industry with proven track record of success in similar roles. Experience in Oncology/Biopsy would be highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.

  • Knowledge of computer software packages particularly MS Office.

  • Good negotiation skills and persuasive powers.

  • Highly motivated individual who takes initiative and has a positive attitude towards work.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region assigned.
