Job Description Summary

Responsible to work on production assignments that are simple to moderately complex in nature. Uses independent judgment to plan, perform, make effective decisions, troubleshoot, and problem solve in areas on set up, operation, and processes of BACTEC Labeling process. Performs simple to moderately complex machine mechanical troubleshooting to BACTEC Labeling lines. Provides support to Technician/Manufacturing – BACTEC Labeling.
Operates and makes adjustment to BACTEC Labeling machinery in accordance with Manufacture’s Specification and Manufacturing SOPs. Follows QSR, ISO, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Start up the equipment following procedures.

• Monitor quality of products to ensure production quality.

• Set up, start up and operate BACTEC Labeling lines in accordance with applicable SOPs, SMPs and Safety regulations.

• Assure product is produced and identified according to procedure.

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and manuals to select parts, adjust and/or secure machinery.

• Notify any deviation from normal operation as defined. Assist in troubleshooting. Supply raw materials (i.e. cases, carton and bottle labels) to machine according to required frequency.

• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications in a timely fashion.

• Meet daily production goals to satisfy customer demand.

• Make machine adjustments as necessary during manufacturing to assure production yield and product expected quality.

• Perform simple to moderately complex machine mechanical troubleshoots to BACTEC Labeling lines.

• Provide support to Technician/Manufacturing – BACTEC Labeling in the event of a major machine breakdown.

• Follow testing, inspection, and simple equipment maintenance procedures.

• Use testing equipment and perform simple test equipment adjustments.

• Complete batch production device history records, as required.

• Maintain neat, accurate, and complete records, logs, manufacturing documentation, and other forms.

• Perform troubleshooting and problem solving in areas of set-up, operation and process, as required.

• Provide continuous attention to details during operations and apply creativity when approaching fairly routine processes.

• Train other associates in operation/simple repair of the equipment.

• Active participation in Lean activities.

• Operates Labeler machine and assures product is produced and identified according to procedure.

• Able to rotate positions or Labeling lines, if needed.

Minimum Requirement:

        Education:

• Minimum of Technical Degree/Associate Degree in Industrial Technician or related field.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, preferred.
