Job Description Summary
Project Engineer I has responsibility of participating in the coordination of all activities related to projects, collaborate and monitor project activities to achieve results according with plan, participate in in developing procedures and execute activities for implementing new projects and/or transfers, collaborate in product structures and in the development of new process tools , process improvements and new technologies, including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items. Project Engineer will ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned task between all disciplines and all other project participants.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The project Engineer I has the authority and responsibility to accomplish the activities assigned by the Program Manager or Project Leader.
- Participate and monitor transfers based on corporate standards procedures from other BD manufacturing sites or technologies, processes and methods externally acquired to a BD manufacturing site.
- Participate in the research, analysis, selection and implementation of new tools, technologies and/or services.
- Provide proper training program to associates or team required on transfer process.
- Collaborate in product structure (BOM, Item master, etc.) prepare of technical specifications.
- Provide detailed instructions for manufacturing process of new part.
- Participate in standard structure cost and explore material savings opportunities.
- Assists in the preparation or modification of project review presentations.
- Participate in manufacturing process layout & initial standard work including tools and utilities adhered to ergonomic standards.
- Participate in equipment acquisition and installation on time according with schedule.
- Any additional activities as required.
- Participate or lead the assigned CAPA’s.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Engineering Degree conclude or in progress
- Preferable 1 year of experience on the Medical Industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of project development and implementation processes.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Presentation skills, oral and written communication skills, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to communicate in English is preferable.
