Job Description Summary

As the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the supply planning process, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop supply chain strategies aligned with our company's objectives. You will collaborate with regional and global teams to achieve optimal distribution and manage long-term product supply shortages.

Job Description

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Supply Planning: Own the supply planning process, delivering master production schedules (MPS) to plants and aligning with financial calendars and capacity constraints.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement supply chain optimization initiatives to identify and fix process gaps. Maximize the use of SAP.
  • Optimize Inventory & Service Levels: Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining service levels and managing backorders across regions.
  • Monitor & Report Performance: Track and report on key global metrics such as backorders and inventory, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the single point of contact for EU MDS sub-platforms, translating business needs into supply chain actions.
  • Support IBP Process: Facilitate supply consensus and review meetings, ensuring accurate production planning and alignment with global demand.
  • Coordinate Global Sourcing: Manage finished goods sourcing across internal plants, optimizing capacity and asset utilization.
  • Manage Supply & Allocation: Make allocation decisions during supply shortages and define planning strategies (MTO/MTS/ATO) for product portfolios.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Participate in or lead projects focused on process improvement, cost efficiency, and lead time reduction.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply planning processes and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant planning/non-planning systems.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
