Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of People Analytics, the Manager of People Analytics will serve as a strategic business partner and technical leader, bridging senior leadership needs with advanced analytics solutions. This role requires a unique combination of HR acumen, technical excellence, and leadership capability to transform people data into strategic business insights that drive organizational performance.

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

Partner directly with senior leaders across the enterprise to understand complex business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions that impact revenue, quality, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership and business partners, influencing strategic decisions through compelling data narratives and predictive insights.

Lead the development and execution of people analytics strategies aligned with BD business objectives, connecting HR metrics to tangible business outcomes.

Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, including VPs, Senior Directors, and business unit leaders, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Technical Solution Development & Innovation

Translate ambiguous business requirements into well-defined technical solutions, developing comprehensive analytics frameworks that address strategic organizational challenges.

Design and develop advanced analytics solutions utilizing predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical techniques to forecast workforce trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities.

Lead the development of prescriptive analytics that generate insight-driven recommendations for talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and workforce optimization.

Drive innovation in people analytics by identifying opportunities to leverage BD data assets, exploring emerging technologies, and implementing industry best practices.

Data Architecture & Engineering

Oversee the integration and management of complex HR data from multiple sources including Workday, Visier, and other enterprise systems to create unified views that meet strategic business needs.

Ensure quality, integrity, and governance of key HR datasets and metrics, maintaining rigorous standards for data validation, cleansing, and testing.

Collaborate with data engineering and IT partners to architect scalable analytics solutions and productionalize advanced analytics use cases.

Develop and maintain data models, custom metrics, and analytical frameworks that enable self-service analytics across the HR organization.

Analytics & Visualization Excellence

Create aesthetically pleasing, effective, and compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations using Power BI, Python, and other visualization tools to educate, inform, and influence decisions of HR clients and business leaders.

Develop ongoing operational talent reports and KPI scorecards with data-driven narratives, mastering the art of storytelling with data.

Build interactive dashboards and guidebooks that provide real-time insights into workforce metrics, talent movement, compensation analytics, and organizational health indicators.

Employ various analytical approaches and hypotheses testing to identify hidden trends and patterns in workforce data that drive strategic value.

Leadership & Team Development

Coach and develop team members in technical skills, HR acumen, and business partnership capabilities, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and analytical excellence.

Provide mentorship on advanced analytics techniques, data science methodologies, and effective communication of complex insights to diverse audiences.

Lead and inspire the team to challenge the status quo, automate processes, and continuously improve the quality and impact of people analytics deliverables.

Build analytical capabilities across the HR function by conducting training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that increase data literacy.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Lead multiple complex analytics projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations across different time zones and business units.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and organizational design.

Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive human capital data and high-profile business strategies.

Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and provide rapid-response analytics for urgent business needs.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Management, or related technical or business discipline. Master degree in STEM field, Business Analytics, or HR Analytics preferred.

7+ years of total professional experience with a strong blend of HR, Business and analytics expertise, including:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on analytics experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Minimum 5+ years of HR experience with deep understanding of HR processes, metrics, and business context
  • People analytics or workforce analytics experience strongly preferred

Advanced technical proficiency in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning applications.

Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, DAX queries, data modeling, and Power BI administration.

Strong foundation in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and data engineering principles.

Experience with advanced analytics and data science techniques including predictive modeling, machine learning, regression analysis, clustering, and classification methods.

Proficiency in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing with strong applied statistics knowledge.

Deep HR Acumen & Business Understanding

Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and workforce metrics including talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, succession planning, learning and development, and employee experience.

Understanding of how HR metrics connect to business outcomes such as revenue, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Ability to contextualize data within the broader business environment and provide strategic recommendations grounded in HR best practices.

Experience working in enterprise HR environments with complex organizational structures and global workforces.

Leadership & Communication Excellence

Proven capability to coach, mentor, and develop others, with experience growing technical and analytical talent.

Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical solutions and analytical findings to executive audiences and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand strategic priorities and align analytics solutions to organizational goals.

Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and provide data-driven recommendations.
