About the role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operations related toconsignment inventory and Brachytherapy equipment, seeds, and consumables. The role ensures smooth logistics execution, leads customer inquiries, and builds strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Working closely with customers, 3PL partners, and cross-functional departments such as finance and service, the coordinator supports all logistics aspects of the company’s sales cycle impacting consignment and Brachytherapy operations.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor, track, and report on consignment inventory across designated locations.

  • Collaborate with Sales Support Coordinators to create and complete schedules for consignment stock counts.

  • Ensure consignment locations are counted per company stock policy and recorded accurately.

  • Update inventory trackers and dashboards promptly to reflect current data.

  • Investigate inventory variances and ensure timely resolution and closure.

  • Process system adjustments and stock transfers (e.g., GRV) with supporting documentation and addenda.

  • Maintain records of quantity changes and transfer validations.

  • Ensure all consignment agreements and annexures are signed annually and filed on SharePoint.

  • Handle updates, amendments, and “add-on” requests to agreements as required.

  • File relevant documents (e.g., stock transfer forms, GRVs, and addenda) with consistency and accuracy.

  • Generate and distribute monthly stock expiry reports to 3PL partners.

  • Coordinate upliftment and destruction of expired or stagnant inventory.

  • Track and run monthly removal of stock with no movement in line with compliance requirements.

  • Prepare monthly performance packs for the Leadership Team.

  • Update private reporting groups with stock-on-hand value metrics.

  • Maintain dashboards and ensure alignment with logistics and supply chain teams.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Handle general queries and ensure high-quality communication with both internal and external collaborators.

  • Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) partners regarding consignment stock, returns, and distribution logistics.

  • Facilitate prompt issue resolution by communicating effectively with Business Leaders and the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Coordinate across internal departments to address and close customer and field team queries.

  • Own and lead project workstreams focused on process optimization and continuous improvement.

  • Support the business with additional tasks and special projects as required.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • 3+ years in inventory coordination, consignment management, or customer operations

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle)

  • Experience using SharePoint for documentation and tracking

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first mentality.

  • Ability to analyze variances, lead stock adjustments, and drive resolution quickly.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, and 3PL partners.

  • High attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and policy alignment.
