Job Description Summary

The CASAJ Supply Chain Sr. Manager leads end‑to‑end regional planning activities, including demand management, IBP leadership, and inventory strategy execution. This role owns the aggregation and validation of Asia Pacific demand, ensuring market intelligence, risks, opportunities, and product lifecycle changes are incorporated into accurate forecasts aligned with global and regional strategies. The manager establishes strong partnerships with commercial, marketing, finance, manufacturing, and global supply chain teams to deliver an integrated planning process. They oversee the full S&OP cadence—maintaining governance, documenting processes, aligning demand, supply, and financials, and identifying risks and opportunities—while driving planning maturity and continuous improvement across the region. The position also ensures optimal inventory deployment, aging stock visibility, cost‑efficient planning practices, and achievement of key KPIs including service levels, forecast accuracy, backorders, line fill rates, and inventory turns.

In addition, the manager oversees order management and fulfillment performance, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience across the region. This includes owning the order‑to‑delivery process, establishing efficient workflows across order entry and logistics coordination, and ensuring appropriate systems and tools are in place for accurate, timely order processing. The role collaborates with supply planning, logistics, and country teams to proactively manage backorders and allocations, resolve escalations, and maintain strong communication with customers. The manager leads both direct and indirect teams, driving operational excellence, enabling productivity improvements, and developing best‑in‑class customer service capabilities. This position requires over 10 years of demand and supply planning experience, strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to influence in a complex matrix environment.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Demand Management

  • Responsible for the management and aggregation of Asia Pacific demand.  Analyzes and validates the demand at worldwide business level.  Ensures market intelligence, risk and opportunities, new product introductions, conversions and rationalization are captured. Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics.
  • Establishes strong linkage with Business/ Marketing to have clear understanding of business direction and development of appropriate supply chain action plans
  • Builds strong partnership and planning collaboration between country and region to increase seamless engagement.
  • Ensures alignment of planning strategies with global and regional business strategies. Understands the market segments for the different businesses, and adapt the right planning process to serve the segments profitably. 
  • Owns the allocation process to help the region to secure more inventories and to balance the real inventory needs at the country level.
  • Works with country planners/ managers to drive effective forecast management.
  • Works with Global Supply Chain team on the annual long term planning to support business budget.
  • Monitors supply chain metrics performance and drives improvements as required to meet or exceed the targets.
  • Accountable for overall region forecast accuracy and ensures alignment of forecast with global and regional business strategies.

IBP

  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with functions involved in the process such as Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing operations, Finance between Worldwide, Region and Country.
  • Maintains formal documented processes which are accepted, understood, and approved with clearly defined accountabilities, business processes, expected outputs and KPIs.
  • Leads the weekly/ monthly cadence of IBP activities / meetings to deliver business objectives and metrics performance levels. Ensures business exceptions from these meetings are defined and escalated for decision making through the Demand and Supply Reviews, and further to the MBR as appropriate.
  • Prepares IBP output documents.  Aligns supply and demand with financials and business strategies through the planning cycle. Provides clear summary of high level risks and opportunities for subsequent action planning.
  • Educates cross-functional partners on the IBP process and engages them in the ongoing process as appropriate.
  • Owns the IBP maturity Roadmap and adopts the IBP assessment tools/ guides to ensure sustainability.

Supply Management

  • Leads the planners directly or indirectly to manage the inventory planning for the Asia Pac region.
  • Executes inventory optimization effectively through inventory deployment across the distribution center network.
  • Manages the inventory strategies towards inventory optimization and supply model strategically to reduce the total supply chain cost and maintains the right service level.
  • Develops inventory and supply allocation policy. Maintain alignment of inventory levels to achieve targeted service levels, backorders and inventory turns. Identifies and pursues inventory reduction opportunities.
  • Establishes visibility controls to regularly monitor aging stock and potential expiry stock and follows through with business on recommended actions or disposition of slow moving and obsolete inventories.
  • Optimizes the supply planning processes for the Asia Pac region to continuously drive efficiency and productivity improvements.
  • Accountable for overall region Line Fill Rates, Backorders and inventory turns.

Order Management & Fulfilment Excellence

  • Owns the order-to-delivery process performance for the region, ensuring on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) delivery and customer experience excellence.
  • Establishes efficient, balanced workflows across order entry, validation, fulfilment, and logistics coordination to maximize productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensures appropriate tools, systems, and resources are in place to execute high‑quality order processing and meet service requirements.
  • Coordinates issue escalation and corrective actions related to order delays, fulfilment gaps, documentation needs, and logistics exceptions.
  • Collaborates with supply planning, logistics, and country teams to proactively manage backorders, allocations, and customer communication.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master or related degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, and Logistics.
  • At least >10 years’ experience in demand and supply planning and at least >4 years of related management experience. Candidates with experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical or biotech industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of integrated supply chain systems – SAP, APO/SCM, JDE, Kinaxis
