Shift:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Summary:
The Production Planner schedules all production orders in compliance with company policies and regulatory demands to meet schedule dates for shipment of product. The Production Planner will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of each order throughout the manufacturing process to ensure on time delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities:
1. Schedule production orders according to inventory level, production capacity, materials availability and labor resources.  
2. Connect with internal and external customers regarding schedule changes, backlog, and resources.
3. Work with cross functional teams i.e. Quality Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve any issues which would prevent scheduled production.
4. Supervise progress of each order through the various stages of production to insure timely completion within established guidelines.  
5. Maintain files and records related to production planning and control.
7. Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.  

  • Minimum of 3 years previous production planning experience required.  

  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO procedures preferred.

  • Language Skills: English – Fluent

  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP system, SAP experience preferred.

  • Other Abilities: Strong organizational skills; excellent communication skills both written and verbal; strong attention to detail; solid problem solving skills; team player

Work Environment:

  • This position requires minimal travel.
