Medication Delivery Solutions

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

Join our Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team as a Sales Manager based in Warsaw. This role focuses on driving growth in Poland by building market knowledge, developing strategies, and leading a team to deliver innovative solutions to healthcare customers.

Preferred location: Warsaw, Kraków, Katowice.

Main responsibilities will include:

Strategy Execution / Commercial Implementation

  • Manage and lead BD MDS Account Managers in half of Poland to implement and execute business strategy to support BD customers in the territory of Poland.
  • Accountable for achieving financial targets and budget performance.
  • Provide accurate business reporting and implement sales, marketing, pricing, and product launch plans.
  • Monitor project progress, address deviations, and implement corrective or contingency actions.
  • Execute Go To Market model implementation in Poland for BD MDS business with close cooperation with Business Manager and marketing team

Business & Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and communicate the vision and strategy for assigned business ensuring team engagement.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and opportunities; recommend priorities and implement solutions.
  • Lead planning and execution of marketing and sales initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive sales team development to meet ambitious targets and adapt to change.

Team & People Leadership

  • Promote BD values and provide coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Build organizational capabilities to support long-term business goals.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent; create succession plans for critical roles.
  • Represent the company in customer interactions, building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Support the team in identifying customer needs and executing sales plans.
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts, opinion leaders, and decision-makers.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Foster collaboration across functions and affiliates, promoting synergies and efficiency.
  • Define processes that ensure effective teamwork and minimize conflicts.

Change & Innovation

  • Identify strategic change needs and drive innovative initiatives.
  • Communicate priorities and apply best practices in change management.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with BD’s Code of Conduct and internal procedures.
  • Complete timely reporting and maintain accurate HR system data.
  • Support product complaint handling and safety-related processes.

  • Fluency in Polish and English

  • Building Relationships & Influencing - gains support and cooperation through effective engagement; understands diverse perspectives and seeks win-win solutions; navigates organizational complexity using practical, perceptive approaches.
  • Learning Agility - embraces new, complex, and ambiguous situations; adapts quickly and identifies success drivers; learns from experience, shares knowledge, and applies insights to new challenges.
  • Other Requirements - willingness to travel (3–4 days per week for co-travels) and occasional international trips, driving license, good IT skills
