Job Summary:
The IAM Analyst/Engineer at Becton Dickinson (BD) will be responsible for supporting the organization’s identity and access management program. This role involves administering user accounts, managing access privileges, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The IAM Analyst will work closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to design and implement access controls across all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.
Ensure that the right people have access to the right resources by working closely with the IAM team.
Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues.
Participate in IAM projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
Maintain documentation for the IAM program.
Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
Provide training to new users on the IAM system.
Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in the organization’s business needs.
Qualifications:
3+ years in IT and/or Cybersecurity supporting Identity and Access Services
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with IAM technologies and best practices.
Strong understanding of access control principles and regulatory compliance.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with specific IAM tools and platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta).
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Access Management Specialist) are a plus.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
