Job Description Summary

This role involves comprehensive management of the tender process, including analyzing specifications, coordinating documentation collection, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements while collaborating with multiple departments (Sales, Legal, Technical) to optimize tender responses and maintain competitive advantage.

Additionally, the position requires monitoring competitors, supporting price increase activities, implementing process optimizations, maintaining specialized databases, and providing direct support during public tender sessions while serving as a liaison with procurement officials.

Job Description

Main responsabilities will include:

Management of the tender process and coordination of documentation collection in close collaboration with the Sales Team through a project approach, including the following activities:

  • Analysis of tender technical specifications

  • Definition of tasks and deadlines with the Sales Team

  • Coordination of the activities necessary for the compilation of the technical tender specs with the Tenders Dept, Instrumental Support Dept, Technical Assistance Dept, Marketing and Regulatory Dept.

  • Verification and in-depth analysis of the technical contents of documents in order to harmonize the language of the tender responses, complete them and improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Oversight of product selection, offers and related documents

  • Analysis, review and sharing with the relevant functions of all final validated documents (clarification questions, product selection, technical and economic aspects).

  • Formal and substantial control of deadlines

  • Updating of archives with a specific focus on the tenders awarded

▪ Activities coordination with Legal for any appeals/notices/warning

▪ Training and spread to DS salesforce of new regulations and normative, court decisions.

▪ Operative support to price increase activity

▪ Third party monitoring and optimization

▪ New process implementation and optimization

▪ Analysis of competitor’s tender documents

▪ Maintenance and updating of specific databases developed within the Strategic tender and planning . Support, where necessary, during public tender sessions and direct contact with the RUPs of the procuring account (local or regional).

About yourself:

  • Analytical Capabilities:Possesses strong analysis and synthesis skills combined with process effectiveness focus and goal orientation

  • Self-Management:Shows excellent organizational and planning abilities with a proactive spirit of initiative

  • Knowledge of the diagnostic and medical devices market.

  • Previous experience in tenders (both technical and procedural aspects) in the Medical Device field.

  • Knowledge of recent Laws and rules of tender submission.

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows and the main Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and tender management systems.

  • Italian mother tongue.

  • Good knowledge of English language
